I have met with Donna twice now. We worked on creating two separate resumes: one for my sciences and one for my humanities. Because the jobs I am applying to are in research, my science resume is really where I focused my energy. I have now finished it and have applied to a microbiology lab in MassGeneral and at Tufts. I did that yesterday, so it will probably be a little bit until I hear back. I am still incredibly optimistic.
Donna also helped me to plan cover letters, which was incredibly helpful. MassGeneral did not require a cover letter, but Tufts did. I found the cover letter to be much easier to write than my resume. It took me about a month to finalize my resume.. Call me riddled with anxiety.
