Sunny aurora
A hot, orange water skips
because of the tree

I did try to come up with something on my own, without the poem generator.. but, I struggled to get the syllables right and I wasn’t feeling super creative, I guess. I thought this poem generator was pretty cool because it has you put in a time of day, what the weather is like (according to whatever you want the poem to be), two nouns, one adjective and then one verb. It urges you to use two nouns that aren’t typically found together, which I found to be a little difficult. I came up with “water” and “tree”. I struggled to think of an adjective, so I chose my favorite color. The verb came easy to me, however, because I love to skip when the weather is nice. I thought I was struggling to be creative before I used the generator, but truthfully I felt even more hindered by using the generator. It was like my mind went entirely blank. This poem is a little strange but I kind of like it. I feel that “orange water” could potentially be a reflection of the sunny day on the water. I’m not sure why a tree would result in the water skipping, but I guess that’s the fun of a poem – it’s all up to interpretation!
