DS106 MEME 2

As soon as I read the prompt to “choose a bad photo,” I immediately thought of this picture. This was actually one of a whole series of terrible firework photos I had taken over the summer. I had spent the entire day out on the boat with my family. We live right on Lake Winnipesaukee in New Hampshire, and have a boat and a few kayaks. Typically I work Tuesday-Saturday and then volunteer or job shadow on Mondays, so I don’t have much time to spend out on the lake. I’m not sure I remember the specific occasion – Fourth of July maybe? – but, I remember being so excited to finally have a boat day. Honestly, I was a few beers deep and thought I was taking the best pictures ever. The next morning, I had looked at them and quickly realized that was not the case. This has become a running joke with my family members. I had a hard time thinking of anything witty for a caption so I left it at “gotta love blurry fireworks,” mostly because I did love blurry fireworks. I loved the time I was able to spend on the lake and with my family. This was one of the best days I had had all summer.
